Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting individual and couples therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a range of mental health issues.

• Performing comprehensive assessments and developing personalized treatment plans that cater to each patient's specific needs.
\n
• Facilitating family therapy sessions to address dynamics and conflicts among family members, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health care.

• Addressing various issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, job stress, blended family challenges, and communication difficulties.

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and progress notes in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

• Participating in regular clinical meetings and case management discussions to collaborate with fellow team members in delivering high-quality care.

• Providing support and consultation to clients in navigating complex family structures and transitions, including separation and divorce.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on a diverse population, including adults, adolescents, and families facing a multitude of challenges. Your expertise will help clients navigate through situations involving familial conflicts, adjustment issues, and emotional distress stemming from personal struggles. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, you must possess the following:

• A valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in New York.
