Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to support student growth and development for the fall semester! Work onsite in a contract role, offering hands-on experience within a school environment from September 8, 2026, through December 18, 2026. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) covers a maternity leave, providing school-based physical therapy services to K-12 students. With an itinerant model, you will work across multiple sites and become a vital support for students’ mobility and participation in their school day.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) certification/license in Oregon is required
• Proven experience delivering PT services within a school setting preferred
• Comfortable traveling between sites in an itinerant capacity
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educational staff and families
• Must provide contact information for your three most recent supervisor references for consideration

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative PT services to a diverse K-12 student caseload
• Perform evaluations and assessments to determine students’ needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and timely progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise on physical access, mobility, and school participation
• Service delivery is onsite only; no teletherapy or virtual options available
