Recruitment Overview Recruitment Number 24-0341. The immediate vacancies are with the Department of Accounting and General Services and Department of Health. Locations: Downtown, Manoa, Kahala. Salary: $6,043 to $7,351 per month (SR-24, Step D to I). Hiring rates based on availability of funds and applicant qualifications. Continuous recruitment may be closed at any time. Role Summary Serves as an analyst in the central management services program, with assignments that regularly include complex cross‑departmental concerns and problems; or serves as a departmental management analyst in a large department, responsible for advising the director and top-level administrators. Level V Responsibilities Analyzes, evaluates, develops and recommends sound organization, efficient administrative policies, procedures, practices and legislative changes for complex and changing interrelated organizational entities (of various departments), groups of many complex processes or functions or major functions of a department or large agency; discusses, explains and obtains acceptance from officials in charge; may supervise and direct other analysts in major projects; and performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Legal Authorization to Work: citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States. Basic Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university. General Experience: Six months of professional work involving the analysis and evaluation of managerial policies, systems, methods and practices. Specialized Experience: Three years of professional management analysis experience, including organizational analyses, work measurement/methods studies, management information systems design and evaluation, and management surveys. At least one year of the required specialized experience at a level comparable to Management Analyst IV in Hawaii State government.
