Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of evening shifts based on client schedules and needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments for clients seeking treatment for substance use disorders, identifying their specific needs, strengths, and recovery goals.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, guiding patients through their recovery process while offering emotional support and practical coping strategies.

• Lead group therapy sessions that focus on shared experiences and relational dynamics, creating a safe space for participants to express challenges and successes.

• Collaborate efficiently with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to create an integrated care approach that promotes the best outcomes for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support to clients during critical situations related to substance use.

• Educate clients and their families about addiction, recovery options, and available community resources, enhancing their knowledge and empowerment in the healing process.

• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Actively engage in regular team meetings and professional development, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

• Stay informed on advancements in addiction treatment by engaging with ongoing research and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with adults facing various forms of substance use disorders, including but not limited to, alcohol dependency, opioid addiction, and other drug-related issues. Your expertise will be vital in helping clients navigate their personal recovery journeys, addressing both psychological and emotional factors.

Qualifications\n

• A relevant Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is required.
\n
• Demonstrated adeptness in working with substance use disorders, recovery-oriented practices, and evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy specifically within addiction treatment settings.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster rapport and trust with clients, applying a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Proficient in maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality as guided by ethical standards.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital platforms utilized in modern therapy environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n
