Help Desk Technician

Talascend is currently seeking a Help Desk Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Bellevue, Washington (State) .


Overview


The role is customer facing, supporting users through technical challenges and assisting with requests for new applications or hardware.


Responsibilities

• Utilizing existing and creating new internal and external knowledge base documents to assist with ticket resolution
• Active Directory account maintenance
• Managing access to internal and external collaboration spaces
• PC lifecycle management
• Inventory receiving and tracking
• Fulfill software requests
• Business travel support
• Demonstrate and assist with remote access to resources
• Support users at Bellevue and Everett location
• Assisting with onboarding as assigned

• Areas for development include supporting customers and clients both in person and remotely
• Rapid deployment imaging technologies MDT and SCCM
• Windows 10/11 in a domain-managed environment
• A general understanding of Office applications, DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP, and wireless networking, as well as how to troubleshoot them
• General understanding of Multi-Factor Authentication methods
• A general understanding of modern Information Security principles and practices

Preferred

• Experience with a commercial ticketing system
• Understanding of desktop and laptop hardware
