Transportation Dispatch Coordinator

Summary: The Dispatch Coordinator I coordinates and supports central dispatcher operations and logistical processes for freight and driver assignments. Responsibilities Assist Central Dispatcher with the displacement of freight and drivers. Perform miscellaneous data entry tasks. Produce a daily revenue report and handle bills data entry. Execute additional duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills. Effective leadership skills. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships in all organizational levels. Flexibility and self‑driven performance in a fast‑paced environment. Comfortable with busy phone responsibilities. Time‑management, priority setting, and multitasking abilities. Highly organized, detail oriented, and capable of follow‑up. Works independently and as part of a team. Qualifications High School diploma/GED required and 1–3 years experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, or related field. Three (3) years or more experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, or related field required. Three (3) years or more experience in the trucking industry preferred.
