Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Himanshu Family & Marriage Counseling Service, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing comprehensive individual and couples therapy to clients across all age groups, focusing on their unique needs and contexts.

• Effectively managing your client caseload, including scheduling ongoing appointments, maintaining an organized calendar, and ensuring timely completion of all documentation and case notes.

• Utilizing our billing service for streamlined claims processing, benefit verification, and payment plans, enhancing your focus on client care.

• Collaborating with fellow therapists in regular team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and contribute to a positive working atmosphere that promotes best practices.

• Engaging in continuing education and professional development to expand your therapeutic skills and methodologies to best serve your clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on providing support to a diverse population within the school setting, addressing the complex emotional and psychological needs of students, families, and couples. You will tackle a variety of clinical presentations, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and behavioral challenges, adapting your therapeutic approach to meet the specific requirements and circumstances of each client.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology.

• A valid and independent LCSW license in the state of Connecticut.

Compensation and Benefits\n
