Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to identify students' mental health issues, strengths, and treatment goals.

• Provide various therapeutic interventions including individual therapy, group therapy, and family sessions, incorporating evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused strategies.

• Collaborate closely with educational staff and parents to develop comprehensive treatment plans that align with the student's academic and personal development goals.

• Monitor and document clients’ progress in therapy, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

• Facilitate workshops and presentations to share mental health resources and coping strategies with students, staff, and families.
\n
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards laid out by social work guidelines and state regulations.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to remain updated on best practices and advancements within the field.

• Support students in building resilience, enhancing coping skills, and managing life stressors to promote overall well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on working with students dealing with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, trauma, and familial challenges. You will also be responsible for helping students navigate the challenges of school life, academic pressure, and social relationships. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating a supportive and understanding environment where students feel safe to express themselves and seek help.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Strong clinical skills, including proven abilities in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and implementation of interventions appropriate for the school-aged population.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts effectively to students, parents, and educators.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years working in a clinical setting, preferably with experience in a school-based environment or with children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n
