Regional Account Manager - Mid-Atlantic

We are seeking a Regional Account Manager to lead sales growth across the Mid-Atlantic region for a fast-growing manufacturer in the Commercial and Industrial HVAC space. This role focuses on managing independent rep partners and driving specification-based sales within the new construction channel .
You'll act as the regional sales leader-owning partner performance, developing market strategy, and serving as a technical resource to engineers, contractors, and distributors. If you thrive in a technical, relationship-driven sales environment and enjoy influencing projects early in the design cycle, this is a strong opportunity to make an impact. What You'll Do- Own and grow revenue across a defined multi-state territory
- Manage and develop relationships with independent manufacturer rep firms
- Drive product specification with engineers, architects, and contractors
- Deliver technical presentations, lunch & learns, and field training sessions
- Identify and execute strategies to increase market share and close rates
- Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline activity through CRM tools
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and marketing teams
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and regional opportunities
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners and internal stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree (Business, Engineering, or related field preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC, air movement, or technical sales
- Proven success working through manufacturer rep channels
- Experience driving new construction specifications
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate to both engineers and non-technical audiences
- Experience reading building plans and equipment schedules is a plus
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- Highly organized with strong pipeline and forecasting discipline
- Self-driven, competitive, and comfortable in a performance-based environment
