osition Overview

Super Fabrications LLC is looking for a motivated Outside Sales Consultant to join our growing team.

In this role, you will meet with residential and commercial customers at their properties, understand their project needs, discuss available fencing, railing, gate, and stair solutions, prepare estimates, and guide customers through the sales process from consultation to signed agreement.

This is a customer-facing outside sales position for someone who enjoys working independently, meeting homeowners and property owners, and helping customers find practical and high-quality solutions for their properties.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers at their homes or properties for scheduled consultations.
• Understand customer needs, project requirements, and preferences.
• Measure project areas and gather the information needed to prepare accurate estimates.
• Present fencing, railing, gate, and stair options based on the customer's needs.
• Prepare and present professional project proposals and estimates.
• Follow up with customers throughout the sales process.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Coordinate with the estimating, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure accurate project information and a smooth customer experience.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, estimates, and sales activity using company-provided software.
• Meet established sales and customer-service goals.
• Represent Super Fabrications professionally when meeting customers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in outside sales, home improvement sales, construction sales, or a related customer-facing role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional and confident when meeting customers.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and explain solutions clearly.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable working independently while coordinating with an internal team.
• Basic computer and CRM skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout Northern Virginia and Maryland.
• Ability to take accurate measurements and learn company estimating procedures.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is motivated, professional, organized, and customer-focused . You should enjoy meeting people, solving problems, and taking ownership of the sales process.

Experience in fencing, landscaping, construction, remodeling, roofing, windows/doors, outdoor living, or other home-improvement industries is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate with strong sales and communication skills.
