Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient therapy office, providing a dynamic and supportive work environment where you will engage directly with patients each day. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology and resources, fostering an atmosphere conducive to teamwork and innovation. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' musculoskeletal function and overall physical abilities, and create comprehensive, personalized treatment plans based on best practices and evidence-based research.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, alleviate pain, and assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals through techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and education.
• Collaborate closely with a diverse healthcare team, including physicians, orthopedic specialists, and occupational therapists, to provide holistic patient care and continuously monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation techniques, therapeutic exercises to be performed at home, injury prevention strategies, and overall health and wellness to empower them in their recovery process.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in adherence to regulatory and organizational standards, ensuring continuity of care and optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is varied, comprising individuals of all ages facing orthopedic challenges. You will work with patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, sports injuries, and various orthopedic surgeries. Your expertise will be critical in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys to enable them to regain functional mobility and improve their everyday quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid New Jersey license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, ideally focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Exceptional clinical reasoning, decision-making skills, and the ability to design tailored treatment regimens.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills and the ability to develop rapport with patients, understanding their unique needs and concerns.
• Competency in collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Experience

Experience in managing complex orthopedic cases, familiarity with specific rehabilitation software, and continual education or certification in specialized therapeutic modalities related to orthopedic physical therapy would be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
