Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining a caseload of clients, establishing rapport, and nurturing positive therapeutic relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conducting regular sessions to monitor client progress, stability, and readiness for discharge, ensuring continuity of care.

• Developing, implementing, and regularly reviewing individualized treatment plans that are focused on the client’s unique needs and goals.

• Documenting client interactions and treatment progress accurately and thoroughly, complying with all relevant regulations and clinical standards.

• Performing comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients’ backgrounds and mental health needs.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis to support clients in achieving their therapeutic objectives.

• Engaging in regular supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with a varied population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use challenges. You will utilize evidence-based practices, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored specifically to the client, allowing for the most effective therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.

• Demonstrated ability to meet internal credentialing requirements for clinical practice.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients or in substance abuse treatment settings.

• Experience in conducting assessments and providing individual and group counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, candidates with additional certifications such as Trauma-Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or Mindfulness Techniques will be considered favorably. Experience with telehealth delivery models is a plus.
