Accounting Assistant

7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 3 days a week

Willing to commute 3 days a week to East Boulder, CO

PrideStaff has an immediate opening for an Accounting Assistant for a small company located in East Boulder, CO, who will work with the AR and AP managers. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive Accounts Receivable support, including cash posting, billing, and light collections, while resolving payment discrepancies. The ideal candidate is well-versed in full-cycle AR and comfortable navigating various customer and vendor portals. Additionally, you will support their procurement team by running inventory reports, placing and tracking vendor orders, and reconciling purchase orders with invoices and packing lists. This is a temp-to-hire position.

Job Duties:

• Perform daily/weekly collection calls, monitor accounts to ensure receivables are current
  
• Assist with weekly & month end reports, statements and other work-related duties as assigned
  
• Reconcile customer accounts, research invoice discrepancies and resolve any issues
  
• Investigate and resolve questions or concerns pertaining to billing
  
• Maintain customer files and accounting documentations
  
• Prepare, post and balance bank deposits
  
• Process credit card transactions
  
• Handle corporate billing, invoicing & payment detail on customer portals
  
• Assist with overflow order entry and invoicing daily shipments.

Job Requirements:

• Must have experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  
  
• General office experience (filing, handling mail, phone reception, etc.)
  
• Strong attention to detail
  
• Ability to prioritize
  
• Strong computer skills (updating product catalogs, processing CC payments, etc.)
