You will work from your own home, utilizing secure telehealth technology to conduct consultations and therapy sessions. • Provide individualized mental health treatment through telehealth platforms, crafting customized recovery-focused treatment plans based on each client’s needs.

• Continuously evaluate and assess client progress, adapting treatment strategies based on real-time psychological assessments and feedback.

• Guide clients in developing essential coping, problem-solving, and communication skills crucial for their recovery journey.

• Assist clients with life skills training, including daily living and financial management, aimed at fostering independence and stability.

• Act as an advocate for clients, connecting them to community resources and services that can enhance their overall well-being.

• Provide psychoeducation about mental health and wellness, empowering clients to take charge of their mental health and navigate challenges effectively.

The primary focus of this role includes assisting adults facing a variety of mental health challenges. Counselors work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and other persistent mental health conditions. Your expertise will help facilitate their journey toward achieving a more independent and fulfilling life. Genuine empathy, patience, and effective communication are vital in this role to build meaningful therapeutic relationships.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

• A valid and current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification issued by the state board of Georgia.

• Ability to work independently and provide direct clinical services without supervision.

• Zero disciplinary actions against the issued license, demonstrating a professional standard of practice.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in providing mental health counseling in various settings, particularly using telehealth.

• Proven success in building therapeutic relationships and delivering client-centered care.

• Strong familiarity with electronic health record platforms and telehealth technologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and active listening.
