Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs, creating a comprehensive treatment plan that aligns with their therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based approaches to facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring inclusivity and cultural competence.

• Maintain regular follow-ups with clients to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, providing them with effective coping strategies and tools for overcoming difficulties.

• Refer clients to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or case managers, when their needs extend beyond the therapeutic setting.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring accurate tracking of patient progress and compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a diverse range of clients, each presenting different mental health challenges. You will apply your expertise to support individuals experiencing substance use disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related issues, and more. The focus will be on fostering resilience and encouraging positive change in clients' lives.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• At least four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling or a related field.

• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and cultural sensitivities within therapeutic practices.

• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and computerized documentation systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
