Key Responsibilities\n

As a Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional health to establish a clear understanding of their needs.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans based on your assessments, collaborating closely with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals.

• Delivering individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, targeting a wide array of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma.

• Facilitating couples therapy sessions, focusing on enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and fostering relational intimacy.

• Regularly reviewing and adapting treatment plans to reflect clients' progress and evolving needs, ensuring an agile therapeutic approach.

• Accurately documenting client interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans, following legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration with other mental health and healthcare professionals to provide holistic support, ensuring all aspects of a client’s well-being are addressed.

• Staying current with advances in marriage and family therapy, participating in ongoing education, training, and professional development workshops.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• An active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) through the State Board.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• At least one year of experience in providing therapeutic services, including individual and couples therapy.

• Proficient writing and communication skills, with the ability to utilize electronic health record systems effectively to maintain client documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience working with child and adolescent populations and familiarity with crisis intervention techniques will be considered additional assets. Candidates who have a strong background in systemic therapy approaches or trauma-informed care are especially encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits\n
