Work Environment

As a staff physical therapist working onsite at our hospital facility, you will be part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team. The setting fosters a proactive approach to patient care, where we prioritize hands-on treatment techniques and patient engagement. You can expect to work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, seeing approximately two patients per hour, providing ample opportunity for meaningful interaction and individualized attention.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients suffering from various orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, recovery from surgeries, and chronic musculoskeletal pain.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and advanced therapeutic techniques to address each patient's unique challenges.

• Utilize manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to enhance patient mobility, strength, and overall functional ability.

• Educate patients regarding injury prevention strategies, optimal movement mechanics, and effective home exercise programs to promote continued progress beyond therapy sessions.

• Collaborate seamlessly with orthopedic physicians, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes through holistic care approaches.

• Continuously monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal results throughout the rehabilitation process.

• Maintain thorough and precise documentation of patient care using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Stay updated on the latest advances in orthopedic rehabilitation and physical therapy practices to provide cutting-edge care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on adults with a broad range of orthopedic concerns. From amateur athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults managing chronic pain, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of diverse patients through tailored care strategies.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada .

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or an equivalent qualification.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to foster trust and rapport with patients.

• The capability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a physical therapist in a clinical or outpatient setting is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
