Your day to day as a Showroom Sales Associate to the A&D Trade As a Full Time Showroom Sales Associate for Villa & House, you’ll actively engage with customers to secure quotes and drive sales before they leave the showroom, setting the stage for a seamless shopping experience. Your role will involve maintaining up-to-date communication with customers, reactivating inactive accounts, and fostering outreach to designers and stocking dealers. You’ll also be responsible for order entry and follow‑up, ensuring that every transaction is handled with excellence. To enhance your effectiveness in this customer‑centric position, you’ll learn and master our comprehensive product catalog, empowering you to provide insightful guidance and recommendations as you work towards achieving sales goals in the vibrant world of interior design. What matters most To excel as a Full Time NYC Showroom Associate at Villa & House, a combination of interpersonal and organizational skills is essential. An outgoing demeanor will help you engage effectively with customers, while a strong sales acumen will drive successful interactions in the competitive environment of interior design and wholesale. Being proactive is crucial; taking initiative to reach out to designers and stocking dealers can lead to new opportunities and reactivation of inactive accounts. Your creativity will allow you to tailor solutions to meet customer needs, while maintaining a professional presence enhances the showroom experience. Additionally, having an organized approach to order entry and follow‑up will streamline operations and ensure timely service. With these skills, you will play a pivotal role in helping achieve our sales goals and fostering lasting relationships in the industry. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: Outgoing sales professional with at least 3 years sales experience, outbound selling preferred Interior design experience preferred Understanding of wholesale and b2b sales a must Proactive and organized Creative and driven, while keeping a professional and customer facing mindset Get started with our team!
