Your Responsibilities

• Carrying out thorough patient evaluations, ordering pertinent diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or autonomously (contingent upon credentialing)
• Instructing patients and their families on preventive care, wellness strategies, and disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and management of chronic health issues
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, integrated care
• Recording patient information accurately and comprehensively in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Minnesota
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent in your specialty
• Certifications for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
