- Carrying out thorough patient evaluations, ordering pertinent diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or autonomously (contingent upon credentialing)
- Instructing patients and their families on preventive care, wellness strategies, and disease management
- Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your practice scope
- Engaging in patient follow-up and management of chronic health issues
- Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, integrated care
- Recording patient information accurately and comprehensively in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Minnesota
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent in your specialty
- Certifications for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Strong clinical insight combined with a compassionate bedside demeanor
- Outstanding communication capabilities with patients, family members, and clinical teams
- Flexibility in high-paced, patient-focused environments
- Competency in EMR systems and familiarity with telehealth tools
