Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant provides office and administrative support in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining production, inventory, shipping, receiving, purchasing, and quality documentation while ensuring accurate recordkeeping and data entry. The position also serves as a point of contact for employees, customers, vendors, carriers, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and greet visitors.
- Prepare and maintain production, inventory, shipping, receiving, and quality documents.
- Process shipping and receiving transactions.
- Maintain office and plant supply inventories and assist with purchasing.
- Enter and maintain accurate records in company software systems.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, carriers, and internal departments.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous administrative or manufacturing office experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP), QuickBooks, or similar software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $18.00$22.
