Work Environment\n

This position is set within a remote work environment, allowing our therapists to reach clients from the comfort of their own homes while still benefiting from the organizational support and resources provided by Blissful Balance Therapeutic Services. Given the nature of a detox center, therapists will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure an integrated approach to each patient’s treatment plan. Our therapists typically work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that articulate the unique needs and circumstances of each patient, developing personalized treatment plans accordingly.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to effectively deliver individual, couples, and family therapy.

• Facilitate supportive and psychoeducational groups for clients, addressing common mental health challenges and providing a safe and therapeutic community.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and alignment of treatment goals.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, equipping patients with tools and strategies to handle moments of acute distress.

• Educate patients on the nature of their mental health conditions and treatment options, ensuring they understand available resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation in line with legal standards, ensuring compliance with ethical practices.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights and receiving feedback to enhance therapeutic practices.

• Stay current with research, both in mental health therapy and best practices specific to detox and recovery processes.

The therapists at Blissful Balance Therapeutic Services work with a varied patient demographic, focusing especially on individuals undergoing detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders, alongside those grappling with co-occurring mental health issues. This role requires a deep understanding of the complexities of addiction and a compassionate approach to support clients through their journeys to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Washington is essential.

• Solid knowledge of mental health disorders and proven proficiency with evidence-based therapeutic practices.

• A demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive mental health assessments and create effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy services to a diverse clientele, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity.

Compensation and Benefits\n
