Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Women's Health Nurse Practitioners to join our team at Empowerment OB/GYN Care in Atlanta, Georgia. As a full-time member of our healthcare team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive women's health services in an outpatient setting. Work Environment

Located in the heart of Atlanta, our outpatient office provides a collaborative and dynamic work environment. As a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, you will work onsite, interacting with a multidisciplinary healthcare team that includes physicians, nurses, and administrative staff. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and take comprehensive patient histories, following department protocols to ensure accurate assessments.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills to provide specialized women's health services, including but not limited to IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, and pessary fittings.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, ensuring optimal health outcomes.
• Act as an advocate for patients, addressing their physiological, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs as part of a holistic care approach.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to navigate patient care processes, maintain effective communication, and track follow-up diagnostics and treatment plans.
• Review and assess medical records for orders and follow-ups, ensuring adherence to established protocols for patient care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and communication, ensuring patient confidentiality and data security.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations, adhering to established protocols, and maintaining composure under pressure.
• Provide excellent customer service in every patient interaction, prioritizing patient satisfaction and care quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Georgia.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing; advanced degrees are preferred.
• Relevant certifications in women's health; must be eligible for Medicare and Medicaid programs.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest advancements in women's health care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, demonstrating the ability to provide specialized care effectively.
• Experience with electronic health records and telehealth practices.
• Previous involvement in patient education and advocacy initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive salaries ranging from $120,000 to $220,000, which is commensurate with experience and expertise. Our benefits package includes:
