Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments, ensuring adherence to departmental protocols and maintaining the highest standards of care.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills to perform specialized women's health services, including but not limited to IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, Colposcopies, Endometrial Biopsies, and the fitting of Pessaries.
• Maintain effective communication with supervising physicians and collaborate on patient care plans, particularly with complex cases requiring multidisciplinary approaches.
• Act as an advocate for patients and their families, taking into account their physiological, psychological, cultural, and socio-economic needs during care delivery.
• Coordinate care and follow up on diagnostic studies, reviewing medical records diligently to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in electronic health record systems for documentation and communication regarding patient care.
• Apply knowledge of nursing safety protocols and legal regulations, including patient confidentiality requirements and risk management practices.
• Manage emergency situations adeptly, involving appropriate personnel and following established emergency protocols.
• Uphold a service-oriented philosophy in all patient and colleague interactions, contributing to a positive care environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner will primarily serve a diverse patient population in Atlanta, which includes women of various ages, backgrounds, and health needs. Our practice is committed to addressing the comprehensive health requirements of our patients through preventive care, education, and advanced medical treatments tailored to individual circumstances.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner License in Georgia.
• Current DEA and CDS certifications.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in a women's health setting.
• Ability to participate in state health programs, including Medicare and Medicaid.

Preferred Experience

While only one year of experience is required, candidates with two or more years working specifically in women's health are highly preferred. Experience with concierge medicine or house call practices is a plus. Furthermore, proficiency in conducting gynecological procedures and a thorough understanding of women’s health issues will be critical for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $220,000 based on experience and expertise. Full-time employees are eligible for a wide range of benefits, which include:
