The Woman's Counseling Center is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our team in providing high-quality mental health support remotely. Work Environment\n

Our counseling center operates primarily as an outpatient facility, providing services in a fully remote setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations of clients' mental and emotional well-being.

• Formulate tailored treatment plans that consider clients' individual needs, goals, and circumstances.

• Offer individual therapy sessions for clients of all ages, addressing various mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Facilitate couples therapy sessions to help enhance communication skills, resolve conflicts, and foster relationship growth.

• Regularly review and adapt treatment plans based on clients' evolving needs and progress.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and case histories in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care for clients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support to clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies.
\n
• Stay current with best practices in marriage and family therapy through professional development and ongoing training.

• Advocate for clients’ rights and well-being, empowering them to actively participate in their treatment journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base is diverse, spanning different ages and backgrounds, with a focus on providing services to women, couples, and families. You will work with individuals facing a variety of issues, from transitional life events to deeper emotional struggles that require professional guidance. Your role as an LMFT is crucial in helping clients navigate these challenges and improve their overall mental health and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in New Jersey.
\n
• Strong foundation in providing therapeutic services, including both individual and couples therapy.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining strict client confidentiality.
