Job Description Job Description Food Pantry Manager Duties Oversee daily pantry operations and make sure products are displayed well, rotated and date reviewed. Maintain policies and procedures from Gleaners foodbank. Maintain forms required by Gleaners Keep operation compliant with food safety regulations Obtain and maintain the serv safe certification Receive weekly deliveries from Gleaners Ensure backstock area is kept clean and organized Manage inventory levels to ensure FCoH is proactive on keeping items in stock. Maintain the frozen foods/meat inventory for walk in freezer Adjust limits in shopping area as necessary Train volunteers, schedule volunteer times Attend Gleaners agency meetings and conference calls Coordinate Food Drives and Donation Campaigns Equipment care- cleaning, defrosting, sanitizing Meet with volunteer coordinator and Director to review volunteer needs Company Description The Free Choice Market at Center of Hope is more than just a food pantry it’s a place of dignity, choice, and compassionate connection.
