Position Summary As a Solution Consultant, you will partner directly with Account Executives & Account Managers to drive technical sales cycles. You will work closely with prospects and clients to understand their operational goals, pain points, and workflows, translating those requirements into tailored product demonstrations and compelling solution proposals. This position plays a pivotal role in driving revenue by serving as the primary technical expert during the sales cycle. Key Responsibilities Partner with Account Executives & Account Managers to support B2B SaaS sales cycles, delivering technical product expertise to help achieve quarterly and annual team revenue targets. Conduct technical discovery sessions with prospects to uncover event workflows, system requirements, and business objectives. Build, customize, and deliver engaging, value-focused product demonstrations aligned with specific customer use cases. Complete RFPs, RFIs, and security/compliance documentation accurately and efficiently. Function as the primary technical subject matter expert during sales calls, addressing feature capability and basic integration questions. Maintain, configure, and refine standard demo environments, presentation decks, and technical sales collateral. Gather customer feedback during sales interactions and relay product requests to Product Management to support ongoing software enhancements. Assist in onboarding and sharing best practices with new sales team members regarding product functionality and messaging. Support marketing initiatives, trade shows, webinars, and regional user group events through live software demonstrations. Qualifications & Requirements 2–5 years of pre-sales experience as a Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Engineer within a B2B SaaS environment (Event Technology experience preferred). Proven track record of configuring and delivering live, interactive software demonstrations to prospective clients. Ability to translate complex software capabilities into practical business solutions for non-technical stakeholders. Experience responding to technical RFPs/RFIs and completing vendor security questionnaires. Basic understanding of cloud web technologies, APIs, and common SaaS integrations. Excellent presentation, active listening, and verbal/written communication skills. Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce.com preferred). Willingness to travel as needed for key client meetings and industry trade events.
