Billing Coordinator

To support the billing operations of a dynamic law firm, the remote Billing Coordinator will manage the preparation, review, and processing of client invoices, ensuring compliance with firm policies and client-specific guidelines while collaborating with attorneys and internal teams. Key responsibilities Ensure compliance of client invoices with firm policies and client billing guidelines, identifying and resolving billing issues as necessary Execute and manage the full billing cycle, including edits, adjustments, and final invoice dispatch, while tracking and resolving billing inquiries Prepare standard and ad hoc reports using Excel and Elite 3e, and assist with electronic billing submissions for assigned clients Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent training and experience A minimum of three years of billing/accounting experience in a law firm or professional services firm Advanced knowledge of Elite 3e or similar accounting systems, with the ability to instruct others Familiarity with major e-billing platforms such as CounselLink and Legal Tracker Proficient in MS Excel for producing reports and performing data analysis
