Insolvency Associate Attorney AmLaw 100 Opportunity Compensation $235,000 – $375,000+ A highly respected national law firm is seeking an Insolvency Associate Attorney to join its Austin office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing debtors, creditors, lenders, financial institutions, and other stakeholders in sophisticated bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency matters. Ideal Background 4+ years of bankruptcy, restructuring, insolvency, or commercial finance experience gained at a sophisticated law firm Experience representing debtors, secured lenders, unsecured creditors, financial institutions, investors, or other stakeholders in insolvency matters Experience handling Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, workouts, and distressed transactions Experience drafting and negotiating restructuring agreements, bankruptcy pleadings, financing documents, and related transactional documentation Experience appearing in bankruptcy court and managing contested matters, hearings, and other insolvency-related proceedings is preferred Experience advising clients regarding creditor rights, distressed acquisitions, and insolvency-related litigation is a plus Working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code, Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, and secured lending concepts Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Ability to manage sophisticated matters while working directly with clients Excellent academic credentials J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted Why This Opportunity Sophisticated national restructuring and insolvency platform Exposure to complex Chapter 11 proceedings and distressed transactions Significant client interaction and responsibility Strong mentorship and professional development Collaborative AmLaw 100 environment Partnership-track opportunity Interested parties may contact: Devney Ayers Director of Legal Recruiting Aligned Talent Acquisition View email address on click.appcast.io View phone number on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr Aligned Talent Acquisition
