Accountant

Job Summary We are seeking an Accountant for a direct hire opportunity with a growing organization in the restaurant and food services industry. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong general ledger, reconciliation, and month‑end close experience who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity environment. The Accountant will play an important role in producing accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting the close process, and maintaining clean balance sheet accounts. Key Responsibilities Execute the period‑end close process across multiple entities within defined deadlines. Perform reconciliations for bank, cash, and other balance sheet accounts. Record and reconcile sales, payroll, inventory, cost of goods sold, accruals, and related transactions. Maintain the general ledger and post recurring journal entries accurately and on schedule. Prepare supporting schedules, reports, and documentation for the close process. Review P&Ls and balance sheets to support accurate and timely financial reporting.
