Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations utilizing established diagnostic tools, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), to create individualized treatment plans that reflect each client's cultural diversity and unique needs.

• Continuously monitor and assess client progress, adjusting interventions and treatment strategies as necessary to facilitate sustained mental health improvements and symptom management.

• Maintain meticulous treatment records and clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and departmental standards, utilizing current technological tools.

• Collaboratively develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans with clients and their families, establishing measurable goals and desired outcomes that align with best practice methodologies.

• Coordinate referrals and establish effective communication channels between clients and other treatment providers, serving as a vital link in their care continuum.

• Offer educational mentorship to students, interns, and new team members, fostering their growth through peer review and clinical discussions that enhance team competency.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who are dealing with the complexities of mental health disorders exacerbated by substance use challenges. You will engage with diverse populations, adapting your therapeutic approaches to meet the individualized needs of each client, including their specific cultural backgrounds and personal circumstances. Utilizing evidence-based practices, you will work to empower clients, helping them navigate their recovery pathways while addressing emotional and psychological barriers.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current New Jersey State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within a detox environment or with individuals experiencing substance use disorders is highly desirable.

• Solid understanding and proficiency in employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care practices.

• Previous mentoring or supervisory experience is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
