Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of patients and their families to accurately identify emotional, social, and environmental influences affecting their health and wellness.

• Facilitate comprehensive discharge planning processes that coordinate with healthcare providers and third-party payers, ensuring a smooth transition out of detox.

• Offer education and counseling aimed at helping patients and families adjust to the implications of illness and recovery, equipping them with coping mechanisms for ongoing challenges.

• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including crisis intervention and both individual and group therapy settings to foster resilience and recovery.

• Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support to patients and address immediate psychological needs that may arise.

• Present findings and insights at educational conferences to raise awareness of psychosocial practices within the field of mental health.

• Engage with community services, enhancing support systems for cancer survivors and advocating for resources that promote public welfare.

• Contribute to the professional development of peers by providing guidance and sharing expertise in psychosocial oncology as applicable.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers around patients who are undergoing detoxification from substance use disorders. The social worker will support individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences, addressing a range of emotional and psychosocial needs to promote recovery and facilitate self-advocacy. Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
