We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations for a team based in Louisville, Kentucky. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is comfortable handling both payables and receivables while maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced environment. The role will involve working with accounting software, processing invoices, and ensuring financial information is entered and tracked with precision.

Responsibilities:
• Manage incoming invoices by reviewing, coding, and preparing them for timely payment.
• Record customer payments, reconcile outstanding balances, and help maintain accurate receivables records.
• Enter financial data into QuickBooks and other internal systems with a high level of accuracy.
• Assist with routine account reconciliations to verify transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Support invoice processing activities from receipt through documentation and filing.
• Maintain organized accounting records to ensure information is accessible for reporting and audit purposes.
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to address billing questions and payment issues.• Previous experience in an accounting support or accounting clerk role.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and general data entry tasks.
• Experience handling invoice processing and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage recurring administrative deadlines.
