Job Summary Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room, Advocate Condell Medical Center – Full Time Department: 37703 Advocate Condell Medical Center – Surgery Schedule: Day shift, M–F, 0700‑1530 with 30‑minute response time call rotation 4‑5 call shifts a month. Hours: 40 per week. Compensation: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour. What You’ll Do Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice and clinical decision making to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association. Minimum 2 years of OR experience (Preference for RNs with surgical services experience). Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center preferred. Skills & Requirements Strong communication and compassionate care skills. Ability to respond within 30 minutes to call assignments. Location and Facilities Advocate Condell Medical Center is a Level1 Trauma Center in Lake County, Illinois, with 275 beds, 12 operating rooms, and a newly expanded 32‑bed ICU.
