Staffing Coordinator

Our programs offer customized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation or orthopedic injury. How You'll Contribute Performs a variety of duties to support the nursing administration and behavioral health technicians in our forensics unit. Reviews staffing needs on a daily basis, calculating staffing requirements based on flexible staffing patterns, patient acuity and maintaining record of reports. Supervises Patient Sitters. Additional Responsibilities Include Reviews staffing levels to actively resolve staffing shortages using flexible staffing plan as guidelines for staffing requirements. In timely manner, informs appropriate Director when staffing issues are anticipated and/or occur. Determines, coordinates and supervises staffing assignments for patient sitters. Provides recruitment, direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to Patient Sitters. Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Assesses and ensures quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. Composes, types, and transcribes correspondence, forms, reports, presentation materials and other written communications. Receives, screens, and routes visitors and telephone calls. Responds to, escalates, and follows up on inquiries and problems as appropriate. Schedules/coordinates meetings, conferences, special events, and appointments. Maintains assigned calendar(s). Maintains files and office equipment. Orders and stocks supplies.
