Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their goals.

• Maintain open and clear communication with supervisors, clinical staff, family members, and other significant individuals regarding clients’ progress and treatment adjustments.

• Organize and manage appointments, home visits, and observations to monitor client advancements effectively.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to participate in meetings that focus on client care coordination and program implementation.

• Complete monthly and quarterly progress notes, ensuring accurate records for quality assurance and effective treatment evaluation.

• Develop training programs and guidance materials to empower fellow staff members in proficiently executing treatment regimens.

• Act as the primary liaison between clients and the greater mental health community, promoting wellness initiatives and available resources.

• Engage in follow-up visits and ongoing assessments to offer clients continued support, adjusting strategies as necessary based on their evolving needs.

• Promote the understanding and adherence to legal and ethical standards in all counseling practices.

• Stay informed on best practices and innovations in mental health counseling, ensuring continuous professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on a diverse clientele, including both adults and youth, facing a variety of mental health challenges. You will work with individuals struggling with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Your role will not only be about treating symptoms but also empowering clients to overcome barriers and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.

• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards governing mental healthcare practices.

• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport with clients and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
