Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and create tailored treatment plans for clients, ensuring all interventions are evidence-based and culturally relevant.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to address the unique challenges faced by your clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Engage in active clinical consultation with colleagues, sharing insights and strategies to enhance service delivery.

• Assist with case management duties, coordinating care with external providers and community resources to ensure holistic support for clients.

• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve Black birthing families, addressing mental health issues that can arise during pregnancy, postpartum, and the challenges of early parenthood. Understanding cultural nuances and barriers is essential to effectively support this population. Your work will contribute not only to individual mental well-being but also foster positive family dynamics and community resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of clients and fellow professionals.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and document progress efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

While experience working specifically with birthing families is desirable, we welcome candidates who possess diverse clinical backgrounds that enhance our team's capabilities. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology will be regarded as an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 , commensurate with experience and caseload. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance options, retirement plans, and additional perks that promote work-life balance.
