Receptionist and Support Specialist

We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. Our San Diego office is looking for a Backup Receptionist/Support Specialist to join our fast‑paced Collections Division. If chosen as the successful candidate, you will provide relief reception coverage during Receptionist breaks, overflow coverage throughout the day, and occasional full‑day coverage when the primary Receptionist is absent. It is our mission to provide the highest quality, cost‑effective legal services to our clients. Compensation $21.00–$24.00 hourly + benefits Schedule Position is full‑time at 40 hours/week. Our business hours are 8:00 am–5:00 pm Monday‑Friday. The primary responsibilities of this position require that the work be performed at the office full‑time. We are not considering remote candidates at this time. Responsibilities Manage a high volume, multi‑line phone by answering, screening, and forwarding incoming calls Extensive phone contact with courts, clients, attorneys, vendors, defendants, debtors and potential candidates for employment. Communicate with clients via phone and email to obtain necessary information Enter appropriate notes regarding accounts into electronic database Perform additional clerical and administrative duties as needed by the department Required Qualifications At least 1 year of high‑volume, multi‑line incoming phone call management Ability to answer over 200 calls per day within 3–4 rings, quickly determine caller needs, and transfer each one to the appropriate recipient/resource Previous office administrative experience Customer service experience Strong attention to detail and data entry skills Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM Preferred Qualifications Rental housing industry experience Excel experience Why Work for Us?
