About the job Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Headquartered in San Francisco, our investors include Benchmark , General Catalyst , Peter Thiel , Adam D'Angelo , Larry Summers , and Jack Dorsey . Position: British English Professional Voice Actor Type: Contract Compensation: $45/hour Location: Remote Duration: 1–2 weeks Commitment: 2–10 hours/week Role Responsibilities Collaborate with a leading AI lab to enhance AI model capabilities in audio data handling and production. Provide high-quality voice recordings in a “customer service” voice with clear enunciation and consistent pacing. Ensure accurate transcription of scripts, maintaining attention to punctuation and natural pacing. Utilize a professional audio recording setup to produce clear and polished audio content. Participate in a kickoff call and work independently to meet project deadlines. Qualifications Must-Have Born and raised in Great Britain . Native English speaker. Ability to deliver a neutral to upbeat tone in voice recordings. Professional audio recording setup including a professional-grade mic, soundproofing, and editing software. Preferred Experience in Voice Acting or related fields such as Music, Television, Podcasts, Twitch Streaming, Comedy, Youtube, or Radio.
