Key Responsibilities

• Perform all physical therapy duties in accordance with our company's core values and principles.
• Adhere strictly to the New Jersey State Practice Act as well as guidelines from regulatory agencies.
• Practice ethically and professionally as outlined in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Code of Ethics.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of assigned patients, setting clear and achievable treatment goals and developing personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver comprehensive goal-directed patient treatment plans to enhance rehabilitation results and support optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare practitioners and community resources to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Accomplish additional tasks as required to facilitate efficient clinic operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Rethink Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse patient population of all ages, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Your insight and skills will be essential in addressing the specific rehabilitation needs of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, chronic pain, and other physical impairments.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in providing physical therapy services, demonstrating the ability to manage various patient cases effectively.
• Strong familiarity with orthopedic physical rehabilitation practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the capability to assess, interpret, and address the unique needs of patients across all age demographics.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is 2 years of experience, preference will be given to candidates with experience in outpatient facilities, advanced therapeutic techniques, and a proven track record of successful patient outcomes. Familiarity with evidence-based practice methods and proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
