Accounts Payable Invoice Specialist
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Washington, D.C. (5 days onsite)
Pay: $25.00 $29.00 / Per Hour
This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision insurance benefits, 401(k).
Responsibilities
- Process invoices by matching to purchase orders and supporting documentation
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
- Perform vendor statement reconciliations and support month-end close activities
- Assist with payment processing including wires and disbursements
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Provide general support to accounts payable operations and assist with ad hoc projects
Requirements
- 2+ years of accounts payable or invoice processing experience
- Experience with invoice matching, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (Workday preferred)
