Director of Coding Operations

Leading a large team of expert-level certified coders, the full-time remote Director of Coding Operations will ensure coding accuracy and compliance while partnering with enterprise customers to enhance their coding workflows and audit-readiness. Key responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of certified coders, focusing on complex case auditing and AI integration Advise enterprise clients on coding quality and compliance, translating goals into measurable improvements Own and report on coding accuracy and productivity KPIs while continuously improving coding frameworks and workflows Required qualifications 7+ years in medical coding, with 3+ years in a leadership role, specifically in home health or hospice Active coding credentials such as HCS-D, HCS-H, BCHH-C, CCS, CPC, COC, or CDIP Expertise in PDGM and hospice coding, along with a strong understanding of ICD-10-CM and OASIS coding Proven experience leading large coding teams and implementing quality improvement programs Ability to work with enterprise clients and communicate effectively with senior leaders in large agencies
