Manager, Strategic Finance

In Finance, we work hand-in-hand with leaders across the company to ensure smooth, disciplined execution of strategic business objectives. Our Strategic Finance team provides comprehensive financial insights into the business through functional business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, and project management. Responsibilities Business partnerships: Work closely with business and functional leaders to enhance financial reporting & forecasting to drive insights and change, applying business judgment and financial insights to assist with decision making Financial planning: Primary point of contact for all finance matters, lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting Business Analysis: Connect financial insights to operational results and the external environment Lead cross‑functional projects enhancing reporting infrastructure to provide tools for trend analysis and target management Special projects: lead new initiatives as strengths emerge Innovate beyond traditional forecasting, be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skills Basic Qualifications BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics Minimum 5+ years in Corporate Finance, Banking, FP&A Advanced Excel and Google Workspace proficiency Strong working knowledge of GAAP Preferred Qualifications Excellent communication and people skills Working knowledge of enterprise‑level financial planning systems MBA, CFA or CPA Experience in infrastructure, cloud, AI, or software Salary and Benefits For San Francisco, CA-based roles: base salary range is USD $162,000 to USD $180,000 per year. Eligible for Uber’s bonus program, equity awards, and a 401(k) plan with a company match. Full‑time employees are eligible for various benefits.
