Senior Software Developer - Remedy/BMC Helix ITSM

Job Summary:
The Sr. Software Developer will leverage extensive expertise in Remedy/BMC Helix ITSM to develop and maintain billing workflows, troubleshoot financial data integrations, and ensure system stability during fiscal year-end close-out. This role involves integrating ITSM with ERP systems, analyzing and resolving workflow failures, and supporting automation and reporting enhancements. Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure Remedy/BMC Helix ITSM billing workflows and integrations.
- Troubleshoot chart fields, financial data structures, and billing/invoicing workflow failures.
- Analyze failed billing tasks, identify root causes, and reprocess workflows end-to-end.
- Integrate Remedy/Helix ITSM with ERP systems, preferably PeopleSoft or INFORMS.
- Update billing logic, automation rules, and workflow configurations.
- Support fiscal year-end preparation, billing rate updates, and financial close-out stabilization.
- Develop or modify dashboards within Remedy/Helix ITSM.
- Document system changes, configurations, and conduct knowledge-transfer activities.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience/certifications).
- 3 5 years hands-on experience with Remedy or BMC Helix ITSM development/configuration, focusing on billing workflows and integrations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with chart fields and financial data structures.
- Demonstrated ERP integration experience, with PeopleSoft or INFORMS preferred.
- Proficiency with computerized systems, database management, and spreadsheet/word-processing tools for reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, such as fiscal close periods.
- Prior experience stabilizing workflows during fiscal year-end cycles.
- Advanced dashboard development experience within Remedy/Helix ITSM.
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines, especially during fiscal year-end close-out.
