Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to formulate treatment plans that address each client's unique mental health needs, including pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as advised by the clinical team to ensure effective and reliable evaluations.

• Maintain open channels of communication with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to individual clients.

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans, complying with regulatory standards and internal protocols.

• Represent the organization as a liaison with service systems, state agencies, and community stakeholders to promote integration of services and enhance client support.

• Engage in continuous learning and professional growth by attending workshops, conferences, and training sessions relevant to mental health practices.

• Participate in the agency's licensing and accreditation processes, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining high standards of care.

• Work closely with the Clinic Director on initiatives aimed at promoting the agency’s mission and values within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at our center, you will work with a diverse client population facing various challenges related to mental health. This includes individuals with emotional disorders, those in recovery from substance use, persons with developmental disabilities, and clients managing the effects of acquired brain injuries. Your role is fundamental in offering tailored treatment that promotes healing, self-advocacy, and overall wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.

• A valid, independent LMHC License is mandatory for practice.
