Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Cath Lab setting. This role involves providing specialized cardiac care and supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including left and right heart procedures.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs, Swan-Ganz lines, and pulmonary artery pressures during procedures.
  
  
• 
  Administer and oversee procedural sedation, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  
  
• 
  Manage dysrhythmia interpretation and treatment, providing continuous monitoring throughout shifts.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to call requirements, including rotating holiday and on-call duties as needed.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures accurately within the electronic medical records system and adhere to compliance standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess a valid NY State Nursing License or be in the process of obtaining one, with submission date documented.
  
  
• 
  Hold current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate at least 2 years of recent cardiac cath lab experience, with competency in adult diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  
  
• 
  Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes and work flexible shifts, including day shifts (4x10 hours or 5x8 hours).
  
  
• 
  Proven ability to prioritize patient safety and adhere to clinical protocols.
