Registered Nurse – Obstetrics

Schedule: Nights, 3x12 (1900–0730) Rotating weekends (every other weekend)

Assignment Details: Contract length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Must have an active RN license in the state
• Minimum of 1 year acute hospital RN experience
• Required clinical experience in labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum (LDRP) and Newborn Nursery
• Experience with charting in EPIC
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn phases.
• Perform triage, labor management, immediate vaginal recovery, postpartum care, and newborn care/resuscitation.
• Assist, scrub, and circulate for vaginal and C-section deliveries.
• Utilize external/internal fetal monitoring, recognizing and treating abnormal fetal heart patterns.
• Manage postpartum hemorrhage, pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, and magnesium sulfate therapy.
• Start and maintain IVs and manage epidurals.

Compliance / Notes:

• Candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted.
• Candidates cannot have more than 10 days of requested time off (RTO).
• Background checks are reviewed case-by-case.
• Return staff policy: 1 year.
