Hughstone Medical Physicians Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team full-time in our Chesapeake, Virginia rehabilitation facility. This role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in the heart of Chesapeake, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks that contribute to each patient's recovery journey. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients to understand their individual needs and limitations.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that utilize diverse therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Tracking and documenting patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed to align with evolving therapeutic goals.
• Educating patients and caregivers about exercises and techniques to promote self-management and enhance mobility.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care for our clients.
• Participating in continuous professional development activities to stay updated on best practices and innovative treatment methodologies.

We serve a diverse patient demographic in our rehabilitation facility, treating individuals recovering from surgeries, trauma, or chronic pain conditions. This includes children, adults, and the elderly, each requiring tailored approaches due to their unique medical histories and rehabilitation goals. Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program and hold a valid state license in Physical Therapy. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to effectively interact with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals. Proficiency in computerized systems for documentation and ability to manage treatment plans using therapeutic software are advantageous.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
