Full Stack React/Java Lead Engineer (IAM)

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Proven ability to establish engineering standards and best practices for code quality, testing, and release governance across a team or product area
• Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and maintaining operational stability
• Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language, with strong hands-on React experience in architecture, performance, and reusable component patterns; strong Java backend skills in API design, service patterns, reliability, and performance; and solid JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals
• Experience developing and operating AI agents integrated with enterprise systems, with attention to reliability, observability, and safety by design
• Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and setting team standards to validate their outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering, including data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security; ability to coach engineers on safe, compliant adoption
• Senior-level lead full-stack engineering experience owning delivery across user interfaces, services, integrations, and production support
• Demonstrated technical leadership, including guiding design and engineering decisions, setting standards, removing delivery blockers, mentoring engineers, leading code reviews, and collaborating with Product, QA, and stakeholders
• Experience delivering in an Agile environment, including planning, execution, estimation, and continuous improvement; ownership of code quality and testing strategy across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Strong secure SDLC and cybersecurity practices, including secure coding, OWASP, dependency hygiene, secrets management, and authentication and authorization fundamentals
• Strong CI/CD and automation experience, including pipelines, quality gates, and deployment practices
• Preferred: Experience with LLMs or agent frameworks, prompt and tool orchestration, and evaluation strategies
• Preferred: Production experience with containers or Kubernetes, feature flags, and observability stacks
• Preferred: Experience with performance tuning and resilience patterns such as caching, asynchronous workflows, and circuit breakers

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions, including tackling complex technical problems beyond conventional approaches
• Build secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
• Lead adoption of enterprise-approved AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes; establish validation standards and encourage reuse of effective patterns
• Apply software development lifecycle tools, including approved AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value of automation
• Identify opportunities to prevent or automate remediation of recurring issues and improve application and system stability
• Lead evaluations with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs, technical capabilities, and fit with existing systems and information architecture
• Lead Software Engineering communities of practice to increase awareness and adoption of emerging technologies
