React/Java Lead Fullstack Engineer - Payments Trust & Safety

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, with at least 5 years of applied experience
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced proficiency in one or more of React, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, or microservices
• Practical experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Redux, Redux Toolkit, GraphQL, HTML5, CSS3, and REST API integration
• Experience with React Router and Module Federation micro-frontends
• Experience with AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, EC2, Kafka, and NLB, as well as databases
• Experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools, including setting expectations for validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and security and resiliency expectations; ability to coach engineers on safe, compliant adoption
• Proficiency across the software development life cycle and advanced knowledge of agile practices, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
• In-depth knowledge of financial services and related IT systems
• Preferred: Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
• Preferred: Enterprise architecture design knowledge, including unified user experiences using data sharing through APIs and Kafka
• Preferred: Experience with case-management workflows and orchestration across cross-functional teams
• Preferred: Vibe coding experience and conceptual knowledge of developer assistant tools such as GitHub Copilot

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions, approaching technical challenges beyond routine methods
• Build secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
• Monitor performance statistics and analyze product performance and scalability across different hardware, software, and configurations
• Advise teams on performance and incorporate performance considerations into development practices to optimize infrastructure scalability
• Influence senior leaders and stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams
• Anticipate and address issues that may negatively affect performance
• Plan and develop standard performance benchmarks and comparison methods
• Create tools to automate performance measurement and analysis
• Promote enterprise-approved AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes; establish validation standards for secure coding, peer review, and automated testing, and encourage reuse of effective practices
