Associates have the opportunity to work on high‑value, high‑profile matters at the forefront of the evolving ECVC landscape. Who You Are You have 4‑6 years of significant experience in emerging companies and venture capital work. You are experienced with start‑ups and emerging growth companies, including seed and venture capital financings and public offerings, and have done venture financings using NVCA documents while working in a premier corporate practice (required). Additionally, you also have some experience with domestic M&A transactions particularly for startup companies and investors. You are proactive, with a strong business sense and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships. You are involved with, or have an affinity for, technology, life sciences, and/or CPG businesses. You have the ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form and a commitment to delivering excellent client service. You are entrepreneurial, innovative, and forward thinking. You have excellent business and legal problem‑solving skills and judgment. You have a strong work ethic, team player attitude, and action‑oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for transactions. You are admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or are eligible to waive in.
